WORKSHOP

In their shoes
This is an experiential workshop in which teenagers and/or adults experience firsthand what it means to have some difficulty or pathology when performing a simple daily task such as spreading butter on a slice of bread or fastening a button with one hand; peeling a fruit without sight, etc.

Following this experiential practice, they are given an explanation of what occupational therapy is, in what areas it is developed, and the function of prescribing and training people with these difficulties in the use of assistive products is introduced.

In addition, they are shown a range of available support products such as food cutting boards, adapted cutlery, button fasteners, etc., and low-cost manufactured products such as adapted cutlery handles.
