OCCUPATIONAL BALANCE QUESTIONNAIRE <\/strong>(OBQ)<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Occupational Balance Questionnaire (OBQ)<\/strong> is a questionnaire in which a person evaluates their occupational balance in relation to their current situation and daily life.<\/p>\n

The questionnaire uses 13 affirmations that explore the balance between different types of activities, meaning, the use of time and satisfaction related to these activities and the time employed in them.<\/p>\n

SCORE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is scored using a six point response scale (from 0 to 5) by the level of agreement with each of the affirmations. Answers range from \u201ccompletely disagree\u201d (equivalent of 0) to \u201ccompletely agree\u201d (equivalent of 5). Thus, it is possible to obtain a final score that ranges from 0 to 65, where a greater score indicates a greater OB. <\/p>\n

AUTHORSHIP:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This tool was designed by Wagman and H\u00e5kansson in 2014. It has been adapted to Spanish and validated among occupational therapy university students by Peral-Gomez and colleagues.<\/p>\n

El\u00a0Occupational Balance Questionnaire (OBQ)<\/strong>\u00a0es un cuestionario en el que la persona eval\u00faa su equilibrio ocupacional en relaci\u00f3n a su situaci\u00f3n actual y su vida cotidiana. Para ello, expone 13 afirmaciones que exploran el equilibrio entre distintos tipos de ocupaciones, la significaci\u00f3n, el uso del tiempo y la satisfacci\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n a esas ocupaciones y al tiempo empleado en ellas. Se punt\u00faa usando una escala de respuesta de 6 puntos (de 0 a 5) seg\u00fan el grado de acuerdo que tenga la persona con cada una de las afirmaciones, pudiendo
estar \u201cCompletamente en desacuerdo\u201d (equivalente a 0) hasta \u201cCompletamente de acuerdo\u201d (equivalente a 5). As\u00ed, se puede obtener una puntuaci\u00f3n final que va de 0 a 65, donde una mayor puntuaci\u00f3n indica un mayor EO.<\/p>

Esta herramienta fue dise\u00f1ada por Wagman y H\u00e5kansson en 2014, y actualmente est\u00e1 adaptada al espa\u00f1ol y validada en estudiantes universitarios de terapia ocupacional por Peral-G\u00f3mez y colegas.<\/p>
